Hello to all,,

I'm in the process of buying my first heli off ebay, It's on it's way, but i understand I may need some parts for it, So if anyone outthere has a broken down ranger for parts let me know.

Is this your first heli, or just the first heli you've bought from eBay?

If it's your first heli, I strongly suggest you find something other than a Kavan Jet Ranger to start with. For one thing, the design is over 20 years old and compared to a modern helicopter, has terrible flight characteristics.

Also, there are two things a beginner needs. Help and parts. Both of which will be very scarce.

If you meant that it's just the first helicopter that you've bought from eBay (and you already know how to fly), I've seen parts listed for sale here and there. Just keep an eye on eBay and the various forums. You can save searches in eBay and have it notify you by email if an item in the search is listed.

Hey, thanks for the quick response,, Yes this is My first Helicopter, I understand that it is an old heli, and that it needs some TLC, so I plan to rebuild it with more up to date mechanics,,

It'll take more than TLC. More like Extreme Makeover! :shock:

I promise that you'll learn faster and have more fun with an EVO or Raptor.

Yes get either a raptor, Hawk or Sceadu to learn on. You can restore old heli's later once you have more knowledge. I'd suggest the hawk for you because you're interested in scale flying.
