Hi everyone,

Firstly, sorry if this is already in a thread (I personally could not locate one).

I have just bought a T-Rex 450SEV2. I have a DX6i, Futaba 404/9257 Servo & Gyro, and HS65 Servo's.

Building my heli is not the problem, i do not know what to do/how to setup my radio. By the way, this is my first heli.

I am in Mode 2. Looking at running 12 pinion at the moment. Any sugestons would be good.

So I guess I'll start the ball rolling.

Watch all the Finless Bob videos about setup to become familiar with your heli. If it's possible visit your local flying field to speak to some heli guys about help, experience is really the best tool available for the hobby.

And last don't rush it, heli's take time, patience, and cash:YeaBaby:.

Good luck and welcome to the additiction,

Skiddz

Download and view the CCPM1 and CCPM2 vids from here: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=11373

They'll explain the concepts behind heli setup. Once you understand 'em, you can easily program the radio.

Your totally right the finless vids on the 450 se v2 are all ANYONE needs! I just followed him to the letter and it was perfect first flight-training gear and all.... That was off within 3 flights and then it just flew right from that day on and has been very consistent in its characteristics. Its stable and precise and the key for me with the finless vids is he makes you understand both how you make the setup and importantlly why its done that way, thus the method and thought process are good for any heli! This is why his vids are soooo good! Thanks again finless. :noteworthy:smokin:
