I completed building a full separates FP heli over the weekend. Unfortunately, I was unable to maiden my new machine outside because of 20-30 mph winds. However, I did conduct a few flights in my basement in which my daughter recorded. Turn up your speakers...the heli sounds great!

racin,

I'm curious about the tail.... Why didn't you go brushless on the tail too?

I'm have all the parts on order to build 2 new Super FP's, I'm going to use these on the tail:

How are you doing to tail motor configuration with the Gyro? Are you using a mixing board? Tx mixing? (I have never set one of these up, I use 3n1's and would like to learn from your setup)

I just got done ordering some new stuff for my honey bee fp. I got a 380 extreme brush motor, the super landing skids, 7.4v 1000mah lipo, and next is gonna be the metal head upgrade.

UAV_PILOT,

After flying an eXtreme motor.... I would opt for the Slomax if you can cancel the order the the eXtreme...

The eXtreme is just to strong for the HBFP, throttle control becomes jittery, the Slomax provides a smooth throttle curve and has the perfect torque for the FP.
10t pinion for stock blades - 9t for M24 Blades with the Slomax setup

Just my 2 cents....

Heli Yea!
