Unsubstantiated rumor! TREX 700's in customs in US now :)

Friend told me he read that TREX 700's are in US customs now. Ready to distribute to US dealers. I have NO idea if this is correct or not, but he's not a rumor-monger and usually only tells me what he thinks is correct. I'm hoping it's true. I have 2 on pre-order :)

Plus that I didn't crash my TREX600N today on a stupid maneuver that I would have crashed with 3 weeks ago, but didn't panic/freeze and pulled it out. Hell of a day ehhe!

Assurance should have a small shipment this week..The other dealers I have spoken to hope to have a small shipment as while but dont know for sure..

MY LHS got one today and it is being built as I type this. It will be ready to fly by tomorrow evening. There are a few more coming this week for those who preordered them. I will try to record the 1st flights but it's a timing thing.

I would say that the first few shipment will go to take care of some of the pre-orders. I won't see my pre-order before sometime in September. Some people will be happy soon!!! Post pictures please!!!

Nobody in my area is supposed to have one yet. I gues these guys know the right people. Either that or they threw down some $$$ to get it. I saw it literally right after it came out of the container. Pretty cool, at least I thought.

We got 2 700N's in today along with a bunch of parts.

The new owners flew down to pick them up this afternoon and are home and wrenching on them now. They will probably pull an all niter and fuel up in the morning.

We are very impressed with the kits as they are in the box. Simple with low parts count. No upgrades needed. Mostly all carbon fiber and very nicely machined components. The only plastic is the fuel tank, front radio/servo tray, frame tail boom mount, and tail pitch lever, along with an extra tail boom. Looks as though Align RC has done it again and sent out a winner.

Will try to keep all posted on how it goes with these guys.

that's the 700 graphic, not the 600. But what has been said in the past is the grips and arms are metal. We'll see :)

From what I understand, about 30 kits arrived at dealers this week. Clearly not enough to fill backorders. The kits were spread out around the country to sponsored pilots and a few hobby shops.

The head block, seesaw, seesaw mixing arms, washout hub, washout mixing arms, flybar cage and head button are all metal.
