I've noticed that the Airtronics 8000 2.4ghz system is significantly less expensive than the Futaba 7C 2.4ghz system (Tx and Rx only for both).
How do they compare? The Futaba offers no interaction on CCPM, and apparently the responsiveness between Tx and Rx is fast (low latency). It also offers two programmable switches and has a knob for tuning the heli for given conditions (not referring to the Dial n Key feature).
The Airtronics offers an eighth channel and seems to have most of the same features, but I've not read that it has a no interaction CCPM capability. I think it only has one programmable switch and no tuning knob. I've not read anything on latency either.
I'm not sure what 450-class heli flyers can do with a 7th channel - maybe landing gear on a scale model. I really don't know how an 8th channel would be used.
Has anyone used both or read more about them to better understand how they compare?
