esky transmitter rechargeable batteries

Hi, I have rechargeable batteries that I use in the transmitter of my hbfp and lama and charge them up with a nicad charger. I notice a receptacle on the side of the transmitter that says charge. can those batteries be charged in the transmitter? thanks

Yes, I do that right from the start. No need to remove the batt from the Tx.
