I noticed when using my 401 with my 500 T-rex that if I flew backwards at a fairly fast speed the tail would kick out and all of a sudden I'm facing nose in if coming towards me. Well this was something people told me the 401 was fairly limited in and a better gyro was in order to keep that tail to hold flying backwards. I purchased the 770 gyro after reading about its better performance and decided to keep my 9257 servo after seeing it is supposed to be compatible with the 770 gyro. I've got the gyro in heading hold and my gain is at 55% using my DX6i and the setting on the gyro is set to high vs. low. For some starnge reason although the piro rate is more consistant with the 770 gyro the tail wants to travel more rapidly when I give a slight bit of left rudder command and then it starts to slow to the speed that I actually want it to travel at. It's as if it's a reverse delay that is a faster command then what I want and then it slows to the speed that it should be. It does not do this with the 401 and it also does not do it when I give right rudder. I really don't understand what the reason for this could be but the tail is definately not happy. Anyone know what could be causing this?
