Found five good stress cracks in one of my RCP blades yesterday that causes the carbon fiber to lift up when I twist the blade. The other blade does not twist so I know this blade is dead. ReadyHeli, along with everyone else out there, does not have the RCP blades in stock. Called ReadyHeli and was told they are not carrying RCP blades anymore and are looking at other options for 500mm blades. Poop!! Went ahead and ordered the RotorTech 515mm blades but at $89 I really don't want to crash them. Are there any other 500mm options out there??

I have an account with HobbyCity but I have never ordered through them. Anybody know how long the regular Air Mail takes?

How can they stop carrying RCP II they just introduced the RCP II 425 blades?

All week have waited for any stocks on them but ended up going with these instead

http://www.espritmodel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5018

$60 plus $9 shipping for the 500MM

Oh good, lots of options. Thanks all!
I'll see how the RotorTech's fly and pick up some other spares.

You think these will work on the shorter boom as they are 530 instead of 500? They seem cheap enough as I can try my 'Wicked Noob3D' on them and wont cry as much when things don't go as planned.

I'm running them on the longer boom right now but I did have them on the short boom for maybe 2 flights.....it's not really that much longer, but I don't know the consequences...of 530's with short boom.

well... there is a slight chance that you could hit the tail rotor IF the planets aligned and the tip of the rotor and the tip of the tail blade were in the exact right position with the right amount of tilt from the swash....if that happened... you'd be the first to know about it :D

or just get the TIG blades from hobby city... same price and 500mm

Thats funny.I emailed them this weekend asking them to get something in stock other than the carbon composites and woodies in 500mm.

I'm using these too, but when I bought mine they were $39.99.......I like them a lot.
