Another :BSS release by Align. With the rumored 50 kits in the US, who knows how many "HeliFreaks" will get one.

It blows me away why they do this.....? All they do is piss people off. They'd be better off stock piling 500 kits, then releasing them all at once at a later date.

I'm in line for one and I'm quite glad to see the first kits hit the market. The quicker they get out there, even not in large numbers, the more we learn about the heli. "Patience grasshoppa."

Dude... this is a little over the top don't you think? If you don't like Align helis why even freakin post here? Comon man..... Keep it real and reasonable would ya... This post was not started to discuss the heli and it's Pro's or Con's... Why HIJACK?

In my opinion (public forum), when you release a product there should be a substantial amount to fill the demand.

NO ONE releases with enough supply to match demand.... Align never has, not slamming Avant but people are standing in line, etc etc.... Try to get Logo 500 parts here in the USA..... I just think this post was a little too harsh!

Look some guys will get one the DAY they can and some will wait till the pipeline is filled. Not sure calling something a crap release does anyone any good...

If I recall correctly, BEAM did a proper release with the E4. That was very current! They released everything at once, including ALL parts support.

I was told the 700 was going to be released in quantity by Assurance, and that it WOULDN'T be like the 500. I was told the 500 was released the way it was because they were trying to get kits out before Christmas. Obviously this isn't the truth.

I LOVE Align and what they've done for this hobby. I just think their releases could be EASILY improved.

Look, it comes down to the dollar as I originally stated. Assurance isn't willing to sit on $800 kits and it's parts until they get a substantial amount in stock to fulfill demand. That IS the bottom line. IMHO, that's not right.

OK lets put that in perspective... The Beam was announced 6 months before it was released and in the beginning it was going to be a MA heli... That crashed and burned and then Advantage picked them up. By that time the gears were turning already.. Oh and nothing against the Beam (great heli!) but I doubt seriously they got the order demand Align gets...

In the end you will never please all the people. Some will WANT IT NOW regardless of parts etc and complain they cant get one, and some will wait until supply is out there.

Again however, your post attitude is what I am pointing out not the philosophy of how it was released... I am OK with you complaining about that but how about being a little more constructive with it or make another post about it and not Hijack someone elses excitment...

Luckly i have a great person in my club with her own shop. And she got me a 700 kit to day from helidirect will ship tomorrow and have it next week:) I was flipping around work when she called me:banana:banana. First day that i seen them out and i got one, thats a first.

About the other topic, There are people that want the heli now(me!) and some who will wait, I dont see how this is a problem. So what i am getting is that you cant get one and you want no one else to have one then. Thats what it sounds like your saying to me at least. :confused:

my LHS got 2 kits, both presold, and most of the parts for the kit, we got all the parts that you would break if you crash it, but none of the random little frame components and such yet
