Hi,
I am pretty new to this and have only asked a question or two about by CX2, but recently bought a CP Pro. I have been hovering it a bit inside and tried to take it outside this evening and the rotor was having a tough time in the grass and I think the carbon "pin" was getting caught.
The heli got caught and one of the blades hit the grass and a chipped a good chunk off of it.
I know this may sound dump, but do I need to replace both blades? Or can I just replace the chipped one?
And do they need to be balanced? (don't know how to do that either)
Thanks,
Mike

Hey MD, You will need to replace the one that has the "chunk" out of it, there are a couple of videos on blade balancing somewhere (I'll try to find you one), you don't really need the tool (although they can make it easier) to do it.
You will probably need to check (or possibly replace) your main gear and shaft and the feathering shaft after a "heavy blade-strike" like you have described.
It doesn't take much to bend these parts on the BCP or the BCP/Pro.
