I purchased the 3000's and with the help of some crafty forum members learned of the trick of putting both on top. These buggers are a bit long so you have to push them back towards the motor quite a bit (watch your motor to esc connectors!) and I use the ReadyHeli custom parts carbon battery trays and velcro but they work great on there...

Now as someone else pointed out these are only 20c rated batteries, so we'll see how they do long term. I'm still in the break-in period with the one's that I have but I'll report back results over time. So far with my Stock setup including a Gaui 1100Kv Super-Pig motor my run times with just T-Rex batteries are ridiculously good, like 6.5-8 minutes of flying. I ran these in break-in hover practice a few days ago, flew for 8.5 minutes (OOPS!, my fourth cycle but I didn't mean to go THAT long!) and I'd only used 40% of their capacity up! So we'll see once I really get on it and start zipping around but I have high hopes for them.

Happy Flying!

I have read that there a number of the readers here use them with no complaints. The price is right and if they preform as well as stated, I will buy more:thumbup:

Whats the length on those? They look shorter, which is a great thing, but look to be about the same size (combined) as the 6s 3200's im using 155x46x44.

Too bad they don't have any in stock; I know because a lot of us here just cleaned them out myself included! I have two of these and a Tx Lipo on the way, can't wait!

If history repeats itself it will be about 1-1.5 months before they get anymore of these back in stock; let's hope I'm wrong but... Sign up for the notification email and have PayPal monies ready immediately and place that order!

The Pro-Tek 3000's are as follows:

Dimensions (WxLxH): 35 x 135 x 24mm (1.37" x 5.3" x 0.95")

Not small but they do fit in the standard plastic canopy but all the better to have the newer B - Bigger canopy to give yourself a bit more breathing room...

Bigger Canopy, do a search or scroll through the posts; the boys were talking about this primarily last week as I recall. There are a few versions out there now, one specifically that's a little 'fatter or wider...'

So.. If the dimensions are:

The Pro-Tek 3000's:
Dimensions (WxLxH): 35 x 135 x 24mm
246g's

The Pro-Tek 4000's:
Dimensions (WxLxH): 42 x 135 x 24mm
292g's

The Zippy 3300's:
143mm X 45mm X 19mm
272g's

..We already know the zippy 3300's fit, and Pro-Tek 3000's fit, so the Pro-Tek 4000's "should" fit because they are shorter and not much wider than the zippy's. I don't see how they could be much wider than the Kong 2200's. The Kongs are a wide pack..

Right?

If so, that's 1400mAh more capacity each flight with the Pro-Tek 4000's in series with only 40g's more weight than the 3300's!

If they do fit, i'm all for having 8000mAh's on tap instead of 6600mAh's, and still staying well under 600g's total pack weight.
