the blue color looks cooler, but the black cooling head looks more efficient, if you could use the black one and anodize it blue I think that would look good

Hehehehe.... not to rain on Aligns parade here but those are rebranded OS .91's...
The blue is the current OS .91 (same motor I used on my 700) and i believe the other one is possibly the new OS .91 coming out. The backplate is what holds the pump (pump not shown in the pics).
Actually the head on the Align version is slightly different.

Bob, you were actually correct with your first post. The specs are the same as the SZ. I noticed the specs on the OS site were wrong a long time ago when I was comparing the YS91SR to the OS91SZ. If you download the manual for the SZ you will see the specs are the same as the Align motor......

Notice that the blue headed version has the heatsink backplate from the new HZ motor? This looks like a bit of a hybrid motor so maybe thats why the specs are different from the stock SZH.

The power output and weight are different to the Align spec?

Yep... may HARD copy manual lists the same specs so the OS web site is incorrect...

The blue head version is pumped ?
I note also that the difference between the blue version and the OS 91SZ is the backplate, it comes with the same backplate as the new OS91HZ (which looks identically to the black version).

what do those holes do?
harryboe

what do those holes do?
They put pressure on the ring trough this holes to increase compression ..
Something YS does in their 4-Stroke engine for years now !!

when does this engine hit the us market?

what do those holes do?
The piston is modified to attain a lighter body and better performance. The combustion gas presses on the piston ring from within through the five holes laid out on the piston top to minimize the blow-by gas.So the combustion energy is effectively transferred to the crankshaft

So guyz,
No posts were added to this thread for a long time,
NE1 heard any thing about these engines?
What's the difference and when will e released.
I know they are on the align site, but how can we know what exactly is the difference between these 2?
Is any of them pumped?

Can anyone tell for sure which of the align engine is identical to o.s engine ?
Which one is the SZ and which one is the HZ ?
Do you think the viper head from the SZ will fit them ?
Thanks,
Roei
