Hi Folks
I've been doing some flying lately. I now have about 212 flights on my 600 3d fly bar version.
Doing simple rolls flips stall turns etc. just the basic sttuff.
I have some vibes showing up on the vertical fin and on the skids. The tracking is dead on, the fly bar is centered all the nuts and bolts are tight.
Does any one have any ideas on what one should look so that I can eliminate the vibration?
Kindly let me know
Thanks

Just had this problem on my 450, flying perfect one day the next I had vibrations, and one of the blades had gotten out of balance. I don't know how, but something must have shifted. Just a thought.

Hey,
Thanks for the quick response. I'm using v blades . Haven't tried balancing those. I do have a slight on one of the tail rotor blades. Do you think that could cause some vibration?

If the blades are not balanced main or tail rotor, you can get vibrations from it.

Ok,
Changed out the tail rotor shaft and all ancillary parts including the tail rotor blades.
Very little improvement. The bottom of the fin and the skids still vibrate

If the horizontal fin has a sharp fast iscuillation or vibration then it is tail related somehow. If the skids vibrate, usually it is a main shaft bearing or damper issue. I recently had a bad shake in my skids, when I changed out my main shaft bearings it went away completely.. Any time I have a vertical tail vibe it has been head or front location related, horizonatl fin vibes have always been in the back region.

Hey Shaun
Bobby recommended I check out the head. In so doing I had a thrust bearing stripped of its balls and a lot of play. I changed out both thrust bearings and installed the K& S dampers.
Will fly after work tomorrow and see what happens.
Thanks

Finally Vibe Free:)
Thanks for all your advice. Problem was a destroyed thrust bearing and old dampers.
