That sucks! I put a dent in one of mine with too long of a horiz stabilizer screw.

If you find the right sized dowel, you can tap it in there and take some of that out.. if you wanna mess with it.. booms are cheap. Or you can use my method and fix it after the next crash. ;) :YeaBaby:

at least you had the honor of denting the boom yourself... unlike mine that came pre-dented... still waiting on that replacement boom from Flying-Hobby...

Mistic do you remember, mine came free with a dent from flying Hobby,I said "I hope yours hasn't got a dent under the cardboard".And there it was...good idea about the dowel ,and tapping it out.just ordered a few bits from f/h.was tempted to buy a g/f canopy too but late to add it to the original order.:(

oh... I'm not waiting on them to get me a new boom... have already been flying mine with the dent in it :D it's not bad enough to cause problems.. just annoying that I wasn't the one that dented it

umm... yeah... not gonna buy anything else from flying-hobby... with the track record I've had with them.... I'd rather order from readyheli or helidirect

HI jag did you have to replace your boom ??

I have not but I feel like I should since aluminum gets pretty weak when dented.. Not the same directional forces but I think of standing on an empty beer can.. one little dent and smash.

I have a spare but I'd rather not use it.
