Well I have had my 550 for alittle while but havn't started ff with it yet. It was a super stable hovering heli until I crashed a few times. I was using my HBK2 as a trainer and was then going to switch to the nicer heli. But I am done putting money into a money pit of a heli like my HBK2 was. It's cheaper to fix the 550 then the HBK2 and I can get parts local. But I think I am having srvo problems. One cyclic servo slows down then speeds up through full range movment. it starts and ends the same as the other servos but in the middle of the travel it slows down and lags behind so the swash tiltsforward and to the left. It didn't do this when I built it. I have some cheap tower pro SG5010 servos and think I need to get better ones. I can only spend between $20 to $40 a peice for them. Any suggestions?????? Thanks.

http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?cPath=40&products_id=3088 those should work... or if you can find someone selling off their DS821 servos from the DX7 they just bought and don't need... (check the classifieds here and at rcgroups.com and rcuniverse.com) sometimes you can get a set of 4 for $60-$80

I bought two sets for about %60 per set. 3 are on my Hurricane, the others will go on a plank. :)

Save yourself $30 and use the 3001 or 821.

i've got 3001's on my cyclic and have seen it thrown round way way shit way past my capabilities with the big  after wards.the hyperion atlases seem kinda attractive with the programmability thing combined with price......being able to set your endpoints midpoints length of throw and speed of movement before even getting to tx programming seems like a very good thing.....mike?ah more specifically mikej or ben feel free to chime in here.....
