Hello everyone,
I have a 770 3D with 8900 servo. I am wondering how the servo arm and tail pitch slider should be aligned for HH.
Should the servo horn be 90degrees to the tail boom OR servo?
Should the tail pitch slider be 4.5mm from the tail case OR in the center of the Tail rotor shaft?
Thanks

The servo arm should be 90 degrees to the linkage in rate mode.
Centering the tail slider is fine, though if you plan on flying it in rate mode then you can set it up where the tail pitch slider is 4.5mm from the tail case.

How far out should the servo horn be? I found this thread: http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=75933&highlight=770+bounce+back
You MUST pick the correct servo ball location for maximum deflection with the minimum amount of limit adjust pot used. If at 12mm and you are using a lot of the adjustment pot go down 1 hole. You want at most just a hair of trim on the limit pot.
I'm not sure what he means by, "just a hair of trim on the limit pot?"
Does that mean you should have the limit all the way down or up? with 11mm I don't get anywhere near full travel on the pitch slider.

I'd have to disagree, most gyros function with more limit pot rather than less, it gives the gyro better resolution.
