Well thank you DW, and congratulations on your appointment. I had noticed, but didn't want to say anything in case I was going mad and it had been there for ages. ;)

Wanted to build something merrycan for the occasion, so I finally finished the P40 Warhawk. Just need to decide on a prop and she's ready to maiden.

Well, with all the electrics, pilot figure, paints and fiberglass I've completely lost track. I hope I'm still under £100 complete with receiver... I know what you mean about the Rex, though. Just started putting the HDX500 together, and I'm already wondering how I managed to live without one :rolling

It was a great day here to. Just got back from the lake where me and my friends were throwing morter shells behind the boat as we were driving it. They'd go off like depth charges and would spray water about 30ft in the air. Not the smartest thing to do, but loads of fun. Happy B-day sutty!

Wow, still under £100. How are they soo cheap compared to helicopters?
Ps. I know, I don't know how I would live without a t500 but I still haven't got one lol!

Hi guys, thanks all for the birthday wishes. DW's present was of a little more interest than Jonny's steaming pile of turd, but as you said Jonny, it's the thought that counts, so thanks, I think. Didn't do anything special on the 4th but today I have had a great day at Waddington air show. There was XH558 returning to the skies for the first time in 15 years. Fantastic, and there were some excellent helicopter displays, and particularly from the chinook.
Funny think was, whether I was watching a plane or a helicopter, I found myself mentally flying them on my sticks. :) Until it came to the typhoon that is, I couldn't keep up with her, the flight characteristics are just mental, and the landing needed to be seen to be believed.
Cracking day out.
