Ummm, look what I found on my hurricane right before I was about to "show off" some of my amazing tail-in hovering to my parents, who stopped by for a quick visit. (they live 6 miles away).
I just happened to be showing my dad how the CCPM 120 degree mixing works and I saw this... (see Pictures)
Any ideas how this could happen? If you can't tell from the pictures, it is the top link of the "left front" servo on the swash.
This really scares me, because if I wasn't showing my dad, I don't think I would have seen it...

It happens.
Did you size the links when assembling? All of my links were WAY too tight to start.

For my Gaui, my links were all very close to being perfect out of the box. I was quite surprised... Now I had to do a lot of work on the other head components to get them loose, but the ball-links were all good minus very few.
I had this happen to me two weeks ago on my T-Rex 450, I've gotten in the habit of just checking links by hand and doing a servo movement check on the first flight of the day and even on this check I didn't notice anything weird. I think spun up my 450 and notice the blades were out of track, I went to adjust, got out the ball-link pliers and the long rod on the swash end popped off with just hand pressure; no pliers needed. It had gotten REALLY loose from use I guess, but MAN that could have been a flippin' disaster, YIKES! So I of course replaced that one right away and then then checked every link thoroughly and all the rest were good. Lesson learned for me as well, REALLY check these buggers over and give them more then just a casual spin and check; a lot cheaper to do it before you fly then it is to be not flying for 3-14 days and having to rebuild the bugger.
And this is a good lesson too about the Gaui links, probably should order an extra set just to have them on hand if and when this occurs.
Happy Flying!

Yup, there were only 3 on one of my hurris too when i got it. Then I read something about it on Justin's website and decided to put a thin dab of gorilla glue around the outside of each of them on both hurris. Been flying with it that way now and haven't had any problems.
