I saw a vid of Matt Botos flying one of his N9s' and i couldn't believe in my eyes how fast was the piro rate of that N9.I try to fix that in mine but i couldn't do anything.
With my Dx7 i put 130% but still the same.
Any ideas?:roll::confused:
I'm running a 611 gyro.

Assuming your tail & gyro is correctly setup to achieve full deflection, assign a switch or a mix to set gyro to Normal Mode with 0 gain.
Apparently that is how it's done but I haven't tried it personally.

I thought that was on heading hold.
Now i can understand how he do that.I dont'think i 'll try this on my chopper:smokin:
Thanks...
Make sure you set up a delay in your gyro, or you'll be poppin tail gears like nothin' Seen a ton of em strip by letting em hammer to a stop.

hey guys thats a good way to do that but what if your doing some really hard maneuver and you hit that swich and it comes out of heading hold good luck saveing it. Another way of doing it is setting your end points/atv to max on the rudder and setting your dual rates on the rudder channel to max and adding alot of expo. This way you never get out of heading hold and you still got that insane piro rate. You might have to get use to the change but be carefull with the quick tail and the expo set up its really sensitive coming out of full stick deflection.

Heading Hold works electronically on "degrees per second", so maxing out atv's & dual rates won't allow as high a piro rate as you can achieve by maxing out your tail blade pitch with 0 gain. ;)
Full tail blade deflection + torque in your favour + gyro not trying to stop it = INSANE piro rate.

That's right.I think this is the best answer.Whatever i do with the atv the piro remains the same..

Hey Sotos,
I do not have a switch to change the gain to 0.
I agree that is not a very safe way to do it.
I'm using a GY611 and simply set my rudder
end points in the transmitter to 140..... no other tricks.
Thanks,
Matt
Matt,
Jeremy from flyinggiants.com here .. Flyin 2 of the N9's and lovin em' HOT RODS ! IRCHA ? I'll see ya there... Cant wait.

or else you can set up a mix where the more rudder you use the less gain the gyro gets. I heard Barracuda hockey mention that somewhere
