Hopefully some of you were able to get out and get in some flights on the 4th.
(I keep forgetting this in an International forum) Us USA guys think we are the only ones in the world...just look at our world politics :dontknow
I worked all night to get the Z30 CF done so I could maiden it.... there wee a bunch of guys at myfield and several more are now geting interested in helis....so it's more fun when they are there.
Tried my first real inverted hover with one of the pros at my shoulder and was able to hold it for several seconds....:banana:banana
Flew both ships and just had a great day....hope all of you USA types did the same.....I'm sure JB and Wazzer don't particularly celebrate our independence from the Queen !!
Now matter what....it was great to have a day off from work.....and able to fly....
I used the helidirect tail case with the trex hub and fins.....I used the Valspar yellow paint on the fins like in the Canopy Thread I started....it works really well and drys with a high gloss.
I had to throw in the picture of the plank with theflags....it was a hoot.....looks like an Eagle carrying flags. Several of the guys havethese bird planes and it drives the local hawks "crazy"....
