You're insane... :smokin:, but I guess you can stick around for a while ;).

That's about the tops I fly my 450 in, so I normally don't fly my 200 in any more than 12-13 m.p.h. of wind. It's too much of a battle with that much wind to really be able to enjoy the flight, although some wind does make the flights a little more exciting :)!

4 or 5 of us are meeting at the albermarle field tomorrow morning. i'll be there from 8-10am the others until 12 or so. you guys are welcome to come.
directions
take 485 to
albermarle rd exit
turn Left (doesnt matter north or south both are lefts) once your on the left side of albermarle rd make the 1st u-turn (Left) but instead of going back to 485 go straight across the road into a parking lot. should see a construction trailer and old golf driving range building the field is HUGE. we can fly 3 guys at a time no problem but most choose to watch.

The wierdest part about windy 200 flying is balooning in the middle of maneuvers, you get used to it in a hover, but when it baloons in the middle of a piroflip, it gets a little odd. I am VERY impressed my how it flies in wind.

In a 15mph wind it'll come to a complete stop in FFF. Very interesting flying like that.

15mph, gusts to 18 today. Burned four packs in the 200 at the park.
She handled everything just fine, even gracefully ignored most of my mistakes.

I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere. I'm spending more time flying, and less time correcting screwed up heli's. Nice to have good equipment.

On the other hand, the B-400 (Crash-Test Dummy) thrashed a belt and didn't make it. We left at sundown, still missing a control link and one tailrotor grip/blade. A wake will be held tomorrow afternoon.
