I flew with a dead RX battery and ended up crashing my 50. The wrecked blades won't fit in my trash can! Please fix this, not that I'm gonna crash again... but still, I had to walk 'em out to the dumpster all by themselves, wasted trip!

edit: I don't like Gohbee not having it's own forum, what's this sub-category BS?

Sigh, the things ya think are funny when you get home from 4th of July festivities. My bad.

so i dont understand why you would make your post sound like its a fault with Gohbee when any sane pilot would not fly with a flat battery pack ???????????????

It was a joke about the blades not fitting in my garbage can. It didn't go over right. There's nothing wrong with Gohbee, just with me. My Stinger is one of the highest quality birds I've ever owned. Don't drink and post!

Also, have you noticed if you try to put a bent Gohbee flybar in your trash bag, it will poke right through it! Unreal! I really wish companies would put more thought into their designs before beta testing on the consumer. :P :D

Oh, and I too don't like this sub forum stuff. I guess we just need to post more to make Gohbee worthy of a forum with full privileges. :cheers

Hehe, that's the line of thought I'm pretty sure I was going for that night.

I figured it out. My fiancé had flipped the light switch on our way to bed so the battery wasn't charging for the 6 hours we slept before heading to the field! Since finding this out, I pulled the socket out of the wall, removed the switch leg and jumpered the bottom plugs up to the top (the bottom was constant and the top plug was switched.) I also bought an RX pack "fuel gauge" that's going on as soon as it gets here.

Let me reiterate.....Gohbee is excellent quality stuff! In fact, all I had to replace on the heli after the crash were blades, flybar and boom, and it crashed tail first! It's flying like the day I built it.

I have the Align 6amp BEC, and really dig the voltage indicator built into it. This is my first heli with a separate RX pack (I'm an all electric guy), and I was a bit worried at first I might run my pack too low like you. The lights make it super easy to confirm that all is good before plugging in the main pack (or starting your engine).

My very first flight with my Stinger 50 almost ended in a bad way about a year and a half ago. Spent a good while setting up everything correctly and decided to go for my first flight, I had been flying a 400 size electric...so when I took off I was in heaven! Hovered around for a few minutes with a big grin on my face when the heli started drifting away and I couldn't get it back.....hit throttle hold and somehow it worked (still don't understand why it worked) the heli kinda bounced and fell over....the only damage was a small dent in the boom....battery was completely dead!

That is it.
Helifreak will automatically move a forum to the "other" area if the number of new post drops below some number.
