When you say "new FlashLink, Black plug", does yours look like the one pictured below? The driver for these on Vista is on the r/h side of the Spartan FlashLink page: http://www.spartan-rc.com/products/flashlink/flashlink.php Click on "Automatic download for Vista"
The driver labeled "Black Plug" is for the previous FlashLink style.

Yes, the one I have looks exactly as in the pic. I did download and run the Auto Install from the Spartan web site, When running the Auto Install, when it tries to complete, it says " You have to run the 64-bit version of DPInst.exe on this machine". I also downloaded the driver and tried to install, and get the same thing. In device manager it always comes up as an unknown device. I'm using a lenovo X61T, vista business 64bit, can't stay I have had any probs with any software or other devices.

oh yea, forgot to mention, the flash link works fine on my desktop computer which is running Vista 32 bit, so I know the Flash Link does work. Now if only I can get it to work on the laptop running 64 bit.
