hi guys,
I have a JR X-347 radio to drive my R-50 and was hoping if you could tell me how to adjust the sensitivity of the GY 401. I cant seem to locate the ATV function on the radio to check the values of the gyro. Any help greatly appreciated
thanks.

Could the ATV functions simply be named "EPA" or endpoint adjust?

Or is this a radio with old-style mechanical trims, that possibly doesn't HAVE epa adjust...

You adjust the end points for the AUXILLARY channel that the red connector with the single yellow wire is plugged into (usually the GEAR channel). The X-347 does have end point adjustments, but I don't remember what it's called.

A value of around 60% is a good starting point for the 401.

THANKS GUYS FOR THE QUICK REPLY,

yes my red plug is in the gear channel. I cant seem to access the window that controls the e.p.a for the gear channel. At the moment when I flick the gear switch towards me the red light goes out on the gyro but I dont know its sensitivity value.

What you are looking for is T.ADJ which is the end point adjust on JR radios. When you find T.ADJ in the function menu tou use the channel select button to scroll through the channels until you get to GEAR. It should read either +100 or -100 depending on the switch position you then can set the end point. If the switch works the opposite direction to what you want use servo reversing to change the direction.
