Some of the old Clutch Dampners, not the hard ones, do they still make them?

Not sure if they still have any at MA. But a call to them would probably get an answer to that question. I am in the process of converting my fans to the new harder dampeners. Got the bit in the dremel tool ready to relieve the area in the fan when I take it out next time.

If I was running a 91 it would be worth the effort to dremel out the holes, has anyone drew up a diagram for the mods to the fan, seems like you shouldn't need to take out more than .002 or so for the things to fit.
I had to put the old ones back in after I discovered the new ones I had were the hard ones, and screwed one of them up, didn't remember those things being that hard to get in.
If I could get hold of Grady he probably has a set of the old ones but I think he has vanished off the face of the earth.

Yes there is diagrams how to modify the fan for the new harder dampeners. It is in the Stratus conversion instructions on the MA website.

May as well just setup for the new ones. Once you switch you will not need replacements for a long time. I flew mine all season and they look basicly new.

I would but I trashed the only set I had, and need the heli this weekend.
