Trex 600n , mah copy 600's , 9451 cyclic , 9254 tail , v-bar , quk swash , gv1- 2100rpm , 2in1 , 13.5 pitch , 15 cyclic (want to reduce- i put 80% dr on air elev to help knock back for now- would like to do it in vbar software though) , ar7000/dx7

Got the v-bar flying today , put 2 flights on it.

Flies ok ,

When i give a pitch shot the heli pops up but the tail seems to lag behind (kinda bob's) then when i stop it relevels it's self agian.

When doing a half roll and a 1/2 loop combo the tail bobs a bit also.

Cyclic seems to be slower than the stock paddles on a 440 flybar. Would like to turn it up a bit.

Could you point me in the right direction , total newbie to the software.

Even the obvious welcome

MArtin :)

Diagnosis would be that the vertical motion from your elevator servo to the swash is not as much as the front two servos. What this would do in terms of flight characteristics is you would have level swash at zero but your tail & rear of the swash would lag behind when giving collective.

OK...lets go through the obvious ones first.

Is the ball on your rear servo a shorter distance out from the shaft as the front two. I know it would be a weird thing to do (putting the ball in the wrong hole) but we're starting with the obvious.

Next is check your radios swash mixing and make sure that elevator and aileron are matched.

I would also check the elevator servo to make sure that its movement is clean with no missing teeth on its internal gears as this could also be the problem.

Make sure that your endpoints for the servos are matched in your radio

You could check those things and if its none of them then I'll think of some more.

I leveled the swash with a swash tool. Went into the ccpm menu and even did the endpoints via the vbar software. This baby is nice and level throughout the range

- every epa on tx is at 100 % top and bottom
- only the throttle has L8 of subtrim
- i put the D/R to 80% for ail and elevator. I'll be putting it back to 100 agian. I found the swash to be a bit slow so i bumped up the vbar settings today. Started with 80 and 40 changed to 90 and 80. Should i cut back to 85 and 70 for 100% d/r ?

- all the servo balls are on the second hole out on the futaba 6 star - 11mm
- Swash set to norm on tx , EX swash has all (rt side) collective's at 60%

I changed the settings on the main rotor to 90 and 80 , tail to 110 and 75. The stock settings made for a slow cyclic and a slow tail. The bobbing was maginally better , still there but a bit less. The swash perked up by a much larger margin

Thanks for the help
