I assume you are talking about Raptors, if so the head, tail, clutch, frames, canopy, and fuel tank. There were several problems with V1 Raptors mostly to do with the head, the V2 uses a larger spindle, different bearing setup in the grips, and has an improved start shaft clutch setup, along with improved tail grips, they said they improved the looks of the canopy but I think all they did was sharpen the nose a bit.

V1 helis are typically the 1st version to hit the market, V2 machines typically follow with some type of enhancements and or upgrades.

Yea, mostly very much needed upgrades!
V1 raptor was a turd, but really cheap to repair, so we didn't worry about the problems that much, just flew it until the tail blew up in your face, or it woofed into oblivion, or it wah wahed bad enough to bend something.
V2 is proof that you can polish a turd. The guys with the V2, that never had a V1, don't even know what woof is, and have never dodged tail blades. None of them even understand what a wah wah is. It got much better.
All in all I think the whole V1 V2 thing came from software lingo. In the old das they had the Shuttle, then the Shuttle Z, then the ZX and the ZXX, now they have the Challenge, the TS, the SX and SXX, and the Shuttle +.
I think they use what ever term will be catchy for the audience they are targeting. If old ladies flew helis, I am sure it would be the Raptor Knitting Needle edition, or the Crochet Hook.

yeah, got a V1 now for my first heli. I seen all the problems suggested, and more.
Dont forget about loose head and grips. Avoid the V1 at all cost.
But the good news is, you will become a pro in no time in rebuilding the raptor series when you have a V1 :D

No need to avoid the V1, all the problems listed can be fixed fairly easy, I flew mine for 2 years and when the V2s came out I put a V2 head on it and flew it for another 8 or 9 months, wah-wahs could be taken care of with a shim at the bottom of the main shaft.
