I have A B400 and want to switch DX6i to DX7 .If I take and copy all factory settings over to my DX7 would this be right.I've watched Jermos video. If I put the numbers on the film he shows, how close will I be? I know he said the settings were for A 450 T-Rex. Or take the DX7 manual and put the basic settings in Will that be close?I can hover right side up in all directions ,but I cant FF fly that well. No one to fly with.Learning with my mistakes & G3.5 sim 1 to 2 hrs. aday. Appreciate any advice.Really want to fly with my new DX7 but don't want to screw things up. Thanks Jupiter20060

Best would be to go to the Finless Tech Room and get the setup videos from teh Basic Skills and Heli Setup 101 thread. ANd set the heli up right.

In fact, all the reports I have seen say the Blade 400s are NOT setup fully correctly from the factory.

I reciently switched to a DX7 for my Blade as well (I also plan on using it with the Logo 500 3D & Logo 600 3D I'm building). I like the DX7 better. It wasn' that hard to setup.

I started by coping over the settings from the DX6i and then insuring my servo's were centered. I still want to insure my end points are set correctly; oe way on the tail servo and it binds a little, so the end point needs to be adjusted to prevent this.

I also did the bearing upgrade on the radio, mainly just to see if I could. I can't tell a huge difference, but I also loosened up the throttle pressure, and that did make a huge difference. The throttle is no longer 'grabby', and is very smooth. Be careful though, as you can over-losen this.

End point Does that mean travel adjustments to 100% ?There where you say oe way on tail servo ,what does that mean? You know Treaves I thought about just coping the settings off the DX6i.And Pinecone It Hovers stable now .Swash is level, all servo horns are 90 deg. Pitch servo horn is probbably 89deg. Could use a little sub -trim on it Trying not to use any but I guess I should.Fellas give me some advice on getting my new DX7 hooked up. Thanks Jupiter20060

Yes, I mean the travel adjust on the tail (one side specifically) I had to lower this value. So that it did not bind. That was the only setting I remember I needed to change. Other than than, I just copied.
