Where's the dx/401 set up vid?

I looked and searched for it and can not find it. I found a 401 setup for another type of radio but I seem to remember one that Finless made for a DX6 or DX7.

Anyone know where I might find it?

Not sure. You don't need it anyway. Just set your horn/arm at 90, don't use subtrim or trim.
Set you sens till it stops wagging and adjust piro speed to your liking with the endpoints.

Jermpo did a DX7 setup vid that includes the 401.

But the setup is the same for Futba and JR if you use the Gear channel and endpoints. Only gets screwy when you use the gyro menu.

And BTW you can use subtrim with a 401, but you cannot use trim.

Hook the single wire plug into the gear channel. Set your endpoints to +/- 50. With switch down, when you power up the red light should be OFF. If not, reverse gear channel.

With switch down, center servo. Install horn as close to 90 as you can get. Subtrim to 90 degrees. I forget how far the ball shold be out, but it is in the Finless video. If using Spektrum, rebind Rx after setting subtrim.

Install pushrod, eyeball to get tail pitch slider as close to center as possible.

Move stick left and right, if the slide rdoesn't bind, increase the limit pot on the gyro until it binds in one direction. Move servo ar adjust pushrod to stop binding. Repeat until it just binds in both directions. Lower limit pot a bit. Limit pot should be between 80 and 100, if not, move ball on servo horn in or out (in if limit is too low, out if it is too high).

Check rudder stick to tail and gyro direction as per the Finless video.

Put gear switch in up position and fly.
