Hi all,

Well, I'm sitting here visualizing myself with the magnifying glass, tweezers, hemostats, and a bunch of tiny screws, bearings, and links, and was thinking how nice it would be to have a stand of some sort that is adjustable to hold the heli in different postions while I work on it...

Way, way back in time, I had a GMP Cobra, and at a LHS somewhere, I found an inexpensive RC heli stand, that worked great. It's long since gone now, but I was wondering what you guys use, if anything to hold this little bird while you are trying to start that pesky tiny little screw?

I found one heli stand online, but it is for like .30 size and all the way up. Looks way too big for the 200.

Thanks as always, you guys always have great ideas and suggestions!

I don't use a stand, but found a $20 desk lamp/magnifying glass at the local Hobby Lobby. It has a flouresent light, flexible neck and a large magnifying lense in the light fixture, with a flip up cover over the magnifying lense. Really helps see the little parts and see in those dark crevises! I'll include a couple of pics.

This has helped me a lot. It will even hold the 200 at certain angles. http://www.readyheli.com/Helping_Hand_p/hhand.htm

Hey rotor, buzz,

Thanks for the input, ideas, and pics!

I ended up ordering a small hobby vise from Readyheli along with everything else...

I also have one of those illuminated magnifying glasses as well, works great. Mine is on a long arm, and with a fluorescent light.

And the thing that Buzz has there, I have one exactly like that, I just never considered it for this use! I'll have to dig it up....it's here somewhere!

I think between the magnifying glass, small vise, and helping hand, I should be good!

Thanks as always guys!
