You know I am in. I want the same reservations I had this past year. Those accomodations are the best. Just see that the water heater works when it gets below freezing.

Hi there clintstone,
I just wanted to ask if this is an open b-day fly-in? I am new to this forum and just wanted to make sure. I will have that weekend off and can take another day due to my b-day being in the same month(Jan 6th). I'm no 3-D pilot like most of you guys, but I am trying to learn when my wife will let me fly. Thanks in advance.

Hell yeh you can come Anthony! Please join our annual Pilgrimage from VA to Old man Akins home in GA!

There will be at least 4 of us from NOVA and MD headed down for it...

Can't wait...Clint's B-day bash is a great opener of the "Nascar" heli event season!

BTW: Clint...I put my retirement papers in this week...if I retire back to OH I am in hopes to have a set up sort of like Mac's on part of my families property...then maybe you can come up to my place for an event...

Is that ohio Greg? My inlaws just bought 15 acers there.

yep...just up the road about 30 minutes from Jeff Swartz's house...my family owns about 1/2 the county up there I believe (ok a little bit of an exageration...but enough that I can steal 10 or 15 acres of farm land from my brother without him noticing and to turn in to a nice flying field!)

But...what the heck can a retired Navy Submariner do in that part of OH...I sure ain't going back to farm...left that life 22 years ago!
