Might be a stupid question but can you bind two say, 6100's to a single TX model?

Yes. But why would you want to do so? :)

sorry for jacking the thread but could you run both of them at the same time from the same tx?
Hmm if you can its gonna be the next step, flying two heli's at once !!!

I was talking to CrabFu the other night and we were talking about his swashbot. So I was wondering about two 6100's running at the same time from the same Tx.

Don't know about the JR/Spektrum radios. But the Futaba 2.4 12FG/12Z/14MZ it is possible for one transmitter to control 2 receivers. The pilots that fly IMAC a lot of them have used two recievers in there aircraft for years. The way they set it up, is one receiver would control the surfaces for one side of the plane and the other receiver the other side. They do this to keep the load off the receivers since they are using so many servos most of the time.
So I could see where you would need two receivers to control something like a robot. Don't really think it is needed on a heli. But there is other applications that two receivers being controlled by one tranny would come make it easier.

I know the IMAC thing. In fact they run two totally redundant systems, complete with dual independant power supplies.
But for just Rx redundancy, the Spektrum full range already have that with the satellite Rxes.
