I am looking for a 200 machine and wonder what kind of servoes, esc and gyro that works very good on the Gaui 200 heli?
Will the new JR185 servo work good?

Servos= Hitec HS45s,Dymonds or Spektrum DSP60 on the cyclic , Futaba S3154 or Logitech 3100 with Logitech 2100 gyro on the tail.
Gyro= Spartan 760, Logitech 2100 or Futaba GY401.
ESC= Stock Gaui ESC 12a or Castle Creations Phoenix 10.
Motor= Stock Gaui motor, Z-Power 4850 or Z-Power 5150
JR 185 servos would require frame modification (cutting the frame) to fit.

Buzz, this list oughta be a Sticky. Great jump-start for the newcomer. Just add a receiver.

How about this LiPo? I don't need 3D power at this point. I want more airtime.

Or the stock Gaui 2S1P?
Thanks in advance.

That battery is 12C, is that enough?

just about any 800 mAh battery that is small enough will work good. yes, 12c is enough. i run 10c in my E550 raptor
I picked up a pair of Zippy K1000ma 20c. With the slanted batt mt , they are a snug fit, and a little (59.8g) heavy, but they work quite well. Most likely to heavy for 3D, but for me they work. :thumbup:

I use the Aplus 850mAh 2s. Works great and fits between the frames. 6 minutes of flight time.

31mm max. Watch the width too. It depends on where you place you equipment how long of a battery you can use. Lot's of guy's are using a tray the've made themselves or you can get a easy one from Rdlohr.

If you want then to fit between the frames (default setup) no wider than 31 mm.
Gaui's own battery and Aplus 850mAh 2s fits
