LiPo Battery Pack Nomenclature

Is there a good source of info which explains the subject matter, such as 4s4p, 10c: what do the letters mean? Would also like to have technical info on LiPos such as "How do they work, What are they made of" (yes I know, lithium polymer) but what else? What is the manufacturing process, etc.?

Don't need someone to spell it out here but what site I could go to to find this info. I've been searching but to no avail...

The 4s is series, 4 cells would be 14.8V and the 4p is paralel ups the mah of the pack and the 10c is the discharge rate, multiply 10 x pack mah will give you the amp discharge rate.
