I have a TREX 450 SE so far its awsome I am almost finished building thanks to Bobs videos. my question is how much vibration is normal in the heli, I have tried my hardest to balance the head and blades but it still shakes on spool up? Also do I need to disasemble all the parts that came pre-manufactured and thread lock them, I was going to do it but Im pretty sure without heat I would strip some of the hardware? How important is a balancer for the Lipo batts? oh yeah one more, I have the JR s285 servose for my rotor head, now on installing them the hardware that came with the heli was too small, so I used the hardware that came with the servo, and what I did is I screwed the lager corse thread screw right into the CF frame, so that they do not have a nut on the other side, the only thing holding them is the frame, they fit pretty tight, is this good or bad? Thanks for the help

It will shake until it gets some RPM. Did the vibration stop after spinning up the head all the way.

Yes you need to check every screw and locktite it. Get a good set of Align drivers you should strip them if you are careful. Heat always helps if they do have locktite on them.

Yes you need to balance your lipos if you want to keep them in good shape and not replace them sooner than you have to.

There should have been plastic nuts that came with your kit to put on the back of the servo screws.

Yeah there was some plastic nuts that came with the servo screws, just they are too small for the screws I used, and the screws that fin them are too small for the servo.

Drill them out and make the hole bigger.

Thanks I did drill out the backing nut and put them on. I feel much better now about the integredy, it will be in the air soon.
