Well, every since I have installed my S9650 tail servo (using with stock gyro, what a joke.) I have always had this wierd kick (with no input). It would always like jump in mid flight. This would kick the heli either right or left (what ever it felt like) a couple of degrees. Well when I installed the servo I set the gyro to digital. I have fought it a bit but dealt with it but I finally got tired of it. I have done everything from playing with sub trim, gyro settings in the Tx, changing the position of the POT on the gyro ( in know the book says it don't matter with the other signal wire plugged in but I had to experiment and it seemed to help a "little"), to pluggin in the servo directly into the Rx and unpluggin the gyro (which solved the kicking problem). Anyway, I decided to just put the Gyro back into "std mode" and what do you know, the kicking quit. It holds actually quite well. I guess I am just going to have to show the ol wifey that if she wants me to quite spending the money on dropping the bird then I need to by a damn good gyro (GY401). Guess I will be ordering one shortly, lol. Not shure if this is just my stock gyro or if this has happened to others but this is the second stock one and for the price in gyro plus crash cost I could have gotten a GY401. Live and learn I suppose, lol!

+1 Sokal
When I had it working it was good, I wont say great. I could do everything I wanted to. When it was on its way out it was a huge head ache. Bit the Bullet and bought a 401/9257 and haven't looked back.

The stock gyro works AWESOME....... on my Honeybee FP! :) I now have the GY401 on the B400... so much better... but really.. the G110 is pretty good on a 300 sized fp.. better than that standard 4in1 it comes with.

Sokal,
I assume this is a photo of your 400 with 401 and 3400G? Any reason why you are not running the servo in Digital mode or is this a pre-setup photo?
Just curious.

Stick one on your Blade CP if you don't have a HH gyro on there, Sokal's seems to work geat with it!

Actually if you look real close it is switched on!

Redfire, The JR7703D is an excellent gyro, it's a little different to the 401 to setup and costs quite a bit more.
The 401 is IDIOT proof. The 7703D will hold the tail a lot better in fast backwards flight, for when you start doing backwards circuits and backwards inverted hurricanes.
I'm pretty confident with my flying now and I can say that even I wont be attempting these any time soon.
I'm still trying to learn backwards circuits on the sim and find I always over compensate for some reason.
