omi carb sticking

..i have about 4 tanks though my stratus...went to fly the 5th and the motor would not acept throtle ....when i looked at it the carb was stuck ..and the servo would not even push it open..3151 digital...I took the arm off and pulled the carb out of the heli....it was very tight in som spots and mostly about 3/4 open....what is going on...At home i took it apart and ran fuel though out the carb and found nothing to make it stick...put it back together and was smooth ..after a few times turning it the carb was starting to get sticky again....what is going on......???? :arggg:

Sounds like the slot in the barrel has a burr in it. Or the barrel stop screw has a burr on it.

David , thanks for the info....I talked to james and am going to try to change out the brass ilde peice from anouther carb and if that dont work i will send mine in to be polished....i completely disasembled and looked at every part ...no burs and no metal shaveings...James says some carbs are just a tighter fit and mine happens to be one of them.......thanks again for some input
