View Full Version : What happened to the price drop we were expecting ?
$700 for the vbar is still a bit much, if it were to drop to $550/600 i would buy it right now. Any chance with competition such as a sk360 we can expect a price drop ?

Just as an observation I notice that retailers are having a hard time keeping v-bar electronics and heads in stock. As long as the demand is equal or greater then the supply I would be suprised to see a price drop regardless of the rumors.

The price drop is coming.. probably late this month once the new units are shipped out.

My information has it that the new hardware units will reflect the price drop. There are no new features in the units; but the manufacturer was changed with the goal of improving reliability and lowering cost.
Any idea of how much of a drop ? $50-100 ?

To my knowledge 700 us$ is already including the price drop for v-bar (V-bar including rotorhead conversion) Overhere it sells between 470 and 500 euro..if it can be sold that is...
It's out of stock for more then two months now. I mailed Mikado several times. At that time they said they would have units again in 4 weeks. That's about now. But no stock yet overhere.
The reason is because they have changed from company that really makes these units. My guess is that they still have production startup problems,
I hope they will be out anytime soon though,

My info says the expectation is about $550.
That would be with our without the head conversion ?? (Like the conversion kit for t-rex 600)
Anyway I hope your info is right for the complete kit :) the lower the better.

No, that's just electronics. That's a $150 discount. The head kit is $160-$180, so they aren't going to drop the price more than $300, as that'd be 50%. Not realistic.
