Hi Guys, so now I am with you now, finally I've got 200SD
and my setup will be the following
Logictech 2100+3100 Gyro servo
3 x Spectrum DSP60 +servo programmer
ZPower 5150 motor (first I'm gonna to try the stock one)
So would you guys recommend to to disassemble the whole thing and reloctite all or I just need to rebuild only some specific parts????

Try all the screws and locktite the ones that are not secured. On mine, I had about a dozen I had to redo.

the bottom frames ones sre usually loose, and triple check the nut that holds the tail on, and add a drop of ca to it.

On my TT, the CF tail fin came off after finishing the build and spinning the head up for say two minutes to get tracking right. It probably shaked right off ;)

Piranha I have the exact setup on my SD bird. The Zpower is awesome. The motor mount screws dont line up exactly, but not a big issue. I would just make sure everything is snug and spin it up and see what you have. More than likely you'll wind up disassembling anyway to resolve small issues.

Congrats on the new bird and welcome to the club!!!!!

Thanks a lot, are you, Guys, using stock plastic blades?

I use both, depends on the mood. Wood blades are stiffer and better for 3D flying (so I've heard) but the plastic blades aren't bad and the're tougher.

One more question, for guys using Spectrum DSP60, which hole do i need to use in servo arm?

I have mine on the 4th hole out from the center.

Don't make it too pretty though - it will make it that much harder for you when you crash it. :cheers

So Today I did 7 flights! What a great little guy ;) It is much stable then I expected! I flew with stock motor on 2S 850 packs. AS for me the head speed is too low on 100% flat curve, I need to try Z Power 5150 or 3S setup, The next thing-as for mee LTG2100 with 3100G looks too soft for me, maybe I need finetune it somehow???
Also I've managed to crash it today, the wind was much stronger then stock motor, and the only thing after the crash-bent spindle screws!!! Not much after the frontal crash ;)

Hey dude!
Glad to hear you'r having fun.
As far as the 2100 goes, I had similar problems once, here's the checklist:
1. Make sure the rx initializes before the gyro does (rx lights come on before the three sets of flashes on the gyro, before proceeding with setup
2. Go through the equipment discovery setup, and make sure that the servo detected fits your type, you may need to change it. It should be led #1 for the 3100. #2 is for most digital servos, #3 gives you an analog signal.
3. Make sure that the gyro is initialized before taking off. Flip to HH and make sure that the led status light goes on.
3. Fiddle with the pyro rate setting on the gyro to suit your tastes.
4. I've also got sorta hinky about rebinding the 6100 before and after making changes. Never had a problem, but it seems to be a recurring recommendation.
I've got a couple of 2100's and a couple of 401's, I like 'em both. If it's not holding, it's probably just setup...

Gr4yb3ard, Thanks for the reply,
I'm using 35mHz, not 2.4 system so I am 100% sure that the rx initializes before the gyro does :) The right servo type was chosen (the first light for 3100) Is there any big difference in piro rate settings in gyro menu? I did not feel any :)
So it seems that i need to make more presize setting in rate mode, My tail stops too soft and sometimes on the tail forward flight it does not hold solid :( I hope with the new ZPower 5150, increasing the tail speed wil help ?!

I think the stock 200SD comes with a 15-9 tooth pinion (9 for the tail). There is also a 15-10 pinion, so you can increase the RPM of the T/R in relation to the main rotor a bit.

Yeah get the 15/10 pinion and you will be loving the Logictech. Do the chinese weight mod, leave your endpoints on 150 and it will piro like a Rave. This is with the gain at 45%. The tail servo doesn't even get warm now. And when you stop or reverse the piro it's like the tail hits a slab of lead. With the 5150 this heli is very fast. I've tached headspeeds of 4620 at 87.5% throttle. The FRP blades are sweet too. More rigid than the woodies and more precise and more money.

... This is with the gain at 45%...
R u talking about gyro gain or gain in the transmitter?

Good news, cause with stock motor at 100% I could not do any tic-toc

Which packs are you using because with the stock packs I can do tic-tocs in all directions, granted they get a little sloppier late in the packs, but they are still very doable with the stock motor.

I don't know where to get the stock packs, I'm using megapower 12 850mAh and dualsky 25C 850Mah.
And here is my bird flying ;)
