Hi, thought I'd share this find.

These are alum fuel tanks for camping. Pretty much the same as what everyone is using except the caps are make of anodized aluminum and are flat!

While those tanks look nice, I'd worry about the saftey end with coil slot. That may not give you the flat edge you want to make a good seal. Also, they are a bit small at only 20oz or a little big at 1 liter unless you have an industrial turbine.

I got aluminum tanks that are 25 oz, already brightly finished with no advertising and all I had to do was cut off the ring on the cover. My tanks were $3.99 USD and available at Walgreens.

Thanks Lou, The slot isn't that deep and I planned on recessing the it a bit on the lathe which would give me a flat area to put in a single nipple. My other plan was to place two nipples, one on either end of the slot, the same as David Owens fuel tanks.

Everything seems to be more expensive in Canada :-) It must be the dog-sled ride up here in July. :YeaBaby:
