Hello to everyone that owns a Shogun or Zoom heli. I have designed a one-piece CNC machined paddle control frame that replaces the stock two-piece paddle wire type arms found used on the Shogun.
I have been testing the paddle control frame for months now and have made as light and strong as possible to retain very precise and response for all cyclic movements. Because it is one-piece aluminum frame, it does not flex at all like the two-piece stock paddle arms and other systems. If you fly 3D and fly your Shogun hard in the air, this is the upgrade to consider.
The advantage of my CNC paddle control frame will give precise control of the paddles to main rotor blades at all times regardless of head speed and cyclic motion. It weighs only 5 grams compared to the 4 grams for the stock paddle arms. Installation is only minutes and the main shaft does not have to be removed.
I am going to be producing a small quantity of 20 units for $25.00 each (plus $6.00 S&H). I working to get this item into the hobby stores, but that will take several months.
The CNC paddle control frame is designed to work on the Shogun, Zoom and Zap. I have not tested it on other clones to confirm compatibility.
Any questions about this product please post it.
