Does anyone else keep breaking the flybar links? They not only break, but they keep flying off too. I've already changed my swashplate thinking maybe it was bad but that didn't help. Any ideas? Can you make anything else work in place of them?
Thanks

i had the same problem when i was using metal swash plate from extreme,i switched back to stock and it works fine, also if you using stock swash plate note that two arms are longer and the other two shorter,i think the links should be on the longer ones,

The longer arms make for a more sensitive collective stick around the middle. It doesn't change the amount of collective throw from the servo's, but it has a "negative expo" effect on the sticks.....
I think using the metal swatchplate is a bad idea, if you upgrade everything in head to metal, then you are still going to lose the weakest link.
From my experience with the HBFP, the fact that the entire head is plastic gives it some "give" when it hits something, the links flex a little, the swatch flexes a little... so it keeps you from losing parts.....
Just my thoughts....

personally i think you need to change either the swash or the flybar holder where the links attach. you do get some poor fitments sometimes as they arnt exactly 'engineered' parts. one or more of the balls on either to swash or fly/holder will proberbly be a tiny bit smaller than the others. check with some vernier calipers before you decide which part to change, but im pretty sure this will sort your issue.
