Throttle/Pitch spring return

Hi, is it a good idea to use the spring return to center position on the throttle/pitch stick for 3D?

I have heard of someone that does that. But personally I don't think it is a good idea or needed.

Thanks David. How about the ratchet mechanism? I have it off but it feels a bit strange as I used it on my plane.

Once you get used to the ratchet being off, you will prefer the smooth feel on your planks as well.

I never heard of anyone using the centering spring on the thr/col stick but there are several in our club that have made an indent at center position.

I like Tmoores transmitter. It actually beeps at midstick. We should come up with something like that for a 9c. Like a small contact that makes at midstick and a buzzer of some sort.
