Hi Guys,
I know I read this somewhere, but how have you guys been dealing with the elevator servo ball contacting the servo case? Do you file the stepped ball down? If so, how?
Or would I be better off trying the LHS for a small ball? Gaui gave me 4 balls, and all are stepped...
Thanks guys!

I just filed it down so there was only ball left.

Finless showed a method of ball shortening in his 450 SE Trex build videos. He put the ball on a toothpick and used a dremel to grind off the base. A file or sharpening stone would work lacking a dremel.

Hey guys,
I kinda "cheated"...I noticed a very nice ball without the step up in the tail linkage bag...so I checked it out, and it works perfecty! Now, I may have to file the other ball down when the tail linkage setup time comes...but for now, I'm lookin' pretty good!
Thanks as always!

I did it like Finless showed, and it worked perfectly. Took maybe 10 seconds to grind off nice and smooth.

Thanks guys, my "cheat" worked, I just ended up using the round ball on the elevator servo, and the other stepped one on the elevator. Seems to work fine that way. Good tip on grinding the "finless way", I do appreciate the info, and it may come in handy later on!
Happy flying!
Glenn
EDIT: I meant I used the stepped one on the tail servo. Been up too late setting up the Gaui, I guess! LOL
