just finished the maiden...so who wants to buy my Fury!
This was the easiest, most straight forward build I've ever had and the best flying copter straight off the build table. Simplicity is the new innovation. My build table is deep so I keep my helis on it rather than on the wall or such, so the whole time I'm building the 700 my Fury is in plan sight only 3 ft away. Not a bad setup for a direct comparison while building the Trex. The whole time I couldn't help but marvel at what Align has accomplished with half the parts count. A fan shroud that is a piece of cake with only 4 parts..8 if you count the bolts. If fit perfect in a matter of seconds with no tinkering. Compare that to the 1hr plus I spent trying to fit the new OS into the Fury to get a head start on break in for the 700. Thats just one example of a few things that are so much more simple on the 700. And this merely isn't cutting corners because this thing flys pants off with a head that runs +/-12deg with no binding straight off the build table. Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee....pretty much no other way to explain it. Things like weight, power and efficiency are pretty important to me flying at high elevation. Don't get me wrong, my Fury flys great and I have a very deep sentimental attachment to MA..but I finally have that POP that I've been craving for a long time. Time will tell if the durability is there but for all intents and purposes my Fury is now for sale as I love my flying vacuum cleaner beyond belief right now.
