My buddy has the same radio as I do.....the DX7 heli radio. In my radio, I have Gyro Sens on one line. His does not have this line. There is an actual space missing where this line should be. What do you think......should he send it back? Is this common? I was surprised to see this. Other than that, his radio works fine for his 450 and 600N.
See in the second picture.......where the arrow is pointing in the screen? That's what he's missing.

What one line are you talking about? Are you talking about the line in the function list or is the 0 and 1 in the first photo on one line?

Mine looks exactly like the first photo. I don't really use the function list so I can't recall if it is listed there. I'll have to take a look the next time I have it out.

No, I do not recall seeing an empty line there when I was going through the menus on mine when I first got it. My first guess is that the gyro was disabled but, then you wouldn't see the Gyro Sens screen either if you just scrolled through the screens rather than using the Function menu to switch screens. If that isn't the case, I'd contact Horizon to see what they say.

Hi,

The DX7 Is a dynamic menu radio. my guess is that something in your setup is not the same.
i.e. what changing swashplate types things are added to the menu or disappear from it.
same with some of the gyro settings.

check your basic setup (the one that come up when you turn it on with down and select pressed) and I guess you'll find the reason

This is my buddy's radio I'm talking about here! Not mine! lol Mine is fine. I was wondering why HIS radio would be missing a line that mine has! :) And that line that is missing is the one that says Gyro Sens.......like in the picture I included.
In all other respects, our radios are identical. So that's why I was asking if any of YOU had had this problem. :)
I hope I've explained this correctly this time. :)

Right, in the down+power on menu, there's an option to select what the AUX or GEAR switch does. If one of those is set to GYRO, you get the extra menu. You can use the travel adjust menu for the gyro even without that menu tho.

:YeaBaby: Ditto to what Fusen said. I had my gear switch originally set to gyro in the set up menu, and used the gyro sense screen to set the gyro gain %. But, when I changed the set up to Aux2/Aux2 -- Gear/Gear, the gyro sense line disappeared too. I use travel adjust on the gear switch now to set the gain values. +70% (HH); -60% (Rate) etc. Much easier to understand and use.
