Hello all!!
I've been reading a lot of good things about the Mini Titan SE and am seriously thinking about getting one.Right now I've got two Trex 450 SE V2's and also a spare ESC and 430XL motor for them.I've been very pleased with this motor/esc combo and thought it would work well in the MT.Just wondering if anyone has tried this combo?
I've been searching online heli suppliers for hours trying to find the SE without the motor and esc but have not been able to find the barebones kit. After reading many threads it seems alot of MT owners end up replacing the included motor and or esc anyhow.Seeing as I've got another brand new Align esc and motor on hand I would like to use them if I could.
Does anyone know if the SE is available without the motor and esc,if so who has them?
Any thoughts or suggestions would really be appreciated!!
Thanks to all and happy flying!!
Jim

The supplied motor and ESC is much better than the align stuff, more power and gov mode works great.

Thanks for your replies!! I'm also looking at the Beam so I'll have to weigh my options and figure out which way I want to go.
Thanks again!

http://onlyraptors.infinitehobbies.com/new_moreinfo.php?part=TTR4711-K12Here's the cheapest I have been able to find at $399:

After selling off the motor and ESC I figure $350, and at that price also looking at the BEAM instead :YeaBaby: .

Would it not be cheaper to get the standard kit, and buy the bling separately. I see that metal parts are pretty, but if you mess up and bite dirt, it is alot harder and more expensive for metal that plastic. Plastic breaks, but metal bends.
