Hey all, I'm after a USB sim cable that I can use to hook my 7CP to my PC for use with FMS etc.

Will this do?

Apologies for posting here, I got no reply in the 'Other Sims Section'.

Thanks!

Yeah...a bit expensive though. Do a search for "futaba usb" and you'll see many less than half that price.

I doubt very much I'd get one for less than that price. Most shops are asking for around £12.

What's this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FMS-Simulator-USB-Adapter-Esky-JR-Futaba-270-aircrafts_W0QQitemZ350078573858QQcmdZViewItem?hash =item350078573858&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318)? Isn't this cheaper?

Hehe, well it's cheaper I'll give you that :D

But I thought sharkovios said to stay away from those?

The one in the link I provided looks like the one I bought off eBay some time ago. I've had no problems with it using my 7C.

Awesome thanks! How much functionality do you get out of it? Ie, which switches can you use etc?

Windows is limited to 8 axis, so I assume all 7 Tx Channels should be detected OK?

I'm not sure how to check the functionality of all channels. I only use it for Mark's HeliSim which works great. I've also used it for FMS and Heli-X sims. I would think that it would be able to transmit all functions that go through the trainer port.

Does anyone know of a way to test whether or not all of the channels are being passed?
