so i bought my b400 on wednesday, and spent the past three days reading manuals, this forum, and watching setup videos. i finally was ready to fly yesterday evening, so i brought it up into a hover to trim it out. it needs trimming on the elevator (right stick, up/down), so i set it down and tried to click the trimmer downward. alas, it does not beep or change the trim. that trimmer works in the up direction, and all the others work in both directions. has anyone else had this problem with the dx6i? any suggestions? thanks fellas.

Send it off to horizon, you will get it back in a week or so.

Yeah I sent mine in to horizon because the roller menu whell broke on mine and they
sent me a new radio in place of the one that i had.

Send it back to horizon, your LHS probably wont do anything about it, mine did not even care and my blade was defective right out of the box, never flown. I sent it back to horizon. They replaced the heli but it took them 8 weeks to do it.

I had that happen to my throttle trim . All i had to do was open the case fast remove the two screws holding the switch in and clean the rocker out ... Works fine now and only took 5 mins to fix .

Just as totsandman said, I had the same issue except the problem was in a DX7. I called the help desk and while I was talking with him and playing with the switch, it started working. I ended the call and decided to try it for a while.

Two or three weeks later, it happened again. I flipped the rocker rapidly back and forth, and bingo, it worked again. Hasn’t happened again now for months.

At least try this; it’s free and could save you some mailbox-sitting time.

Roger.

i opened up the Tx and unscrewed the board for that trimmer. with power, the actual button that the lever depresses was functional, so i just added a few pieces of tape to make the button taller. works fine now. :smokin: thanks for the help fellas.

i'm going for my first flight now, i'll post a video later.
