i would like to do the dts mod on my carbon frame. Anything i should know before i do it?:)

I think nobody did the mod on carbon yet, you be the first IMO and I don't know how the carbon would react to the stress when cutting away surplus to fit the servo's .
I guess the best way to go is with the external mounts.

I did the mod on carbon. i posted pics in the other "direct to swash" thread in the Belt CP forums. I think it was post number 25 or 27.

You should check out that thread. it has a lot of good info. i used the mini titan servo mounts and they worked beautifully.

I think that the flat of the carbon frame actually makes this mod much easier and more precise than trying to do it on a plastic frame.

you will definitely be happy with the flight characteristics after you are done.
